Why create a Student Association?

 

There is a strong need for an international association for students seeking degrees in the field of Emergency Management.  The International Emergency Management Student Association serves to link Emergency Management students around the world. 

 

Recent global awareness in the field of Emergency Management has facilitated an exponential growth in Emergency Management education programs and the number of students as well.  Through uniting these students, IEMSA hopes to facilitate additional development in the field and support students on their path to careers in Emergency Management.
